One of the optional and UNMISSABLE activities that you can do during your stay at the hotel is sailing on Frías Lake.
The lake is located 3km from the hotel and is part of the Andean Crossing to Chile. We go there by bus, along a road in the middle of the Valdivian Rainforest. Once in Puerto Alegre, we take a modern catamaran that crosses the lake in about 15/20 minutes until arrive to Puerto Frías.

It is fed by the abundant rainfall in the area and the streams that descend from the Frías glacier, located on Cerro Tronador, and the sediments in its waters give it its peculiar emerald green color.
During the sailing, if the weather allows it, you will be able to see beautiful views of Mount Tronador, views that can only be appreciated from the catamaran, in addition to enjoying the sailing in this beautifull lake. Its color is really AMAZING.
In Puerto Frías it is possible to visit the La Poderosa kiosk where is exhibited a replica of the motorcycle used by Che Guevara to passed through this same place on one of his trips to Chile. You can also get a postcard with the giant letters of FRIAS and the lake in the background, and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the place, before returning to Puerto Blest.
